(ADAMH) Services Board
was created in 1967 to ensure the availability of community-based alcohol, drug addiction and mental health services. The ADAMH Board does not directly provide services, but contracts with a network of public and private health care agencies to treat persons in need. Its primary responsibilities are to:
Serve as the mental health, alcohol and drug addiction planning agency for Fayette, Highland, Pickaway, Pike and Ross Counties.
Assess community needs, establish priorities and develop a system of care to meet these needs.
Monitor and evaluate services for quality, accessibility, availability, effectiveness and fiscal accountability.
Advocate for and develop local financial support for mental health, alcohol and drug addiction programs.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to meet the recovery needs of our communities by providing access to quality and integrated services, empowering consumers and supporting innovative and evidence based approaches to treatment and prevention.
