All of us know someone whose life has been touched by a mental health concern or substance abuse. In fact, one out of three Americans - 60 million people - will experience a mental health concern during his or her lifetime. In addition, it is estimated that nearly 17.6 million adult Americans abuse alcohol or are alcoholic. Several million more adults engage in risky drinking that could lead to alcohol problems.

Fortunately, there is hope and help for people recovering from these devastating conditions, thanks to the Paint Valley Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services and its partner agencies.
