Paint Valley ADAMH Board Names Director
Following a year-long search, the Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Board of Directors has hired Penny Dehner as its new executive director.
Dehner had been serving as the associate director at the Chillicothe agency since 2010 and will assume her new duties July 1, 2017.
“We believe Penny has the qualifications, experience and leadership to move this Board forward as we face a critical time with the opiate epidemic and behavioral health redesign,” said Jack Clark, chair of the board.
She has been with Paint Valley ADAMH Board since 2004 when she was hired as the director of information management. She held that position until March 2010 when she was promoted to associate director.
“It has been my privilege to work with a great team of individuals at The Paint Valley ADAMH Board and I would like to thank them as well as the board members for their consistent support. It is crucial we work as partners in the community to combat the opiate epidemic faced by each of the counties and I look forward to being a part of the solutions,” said Dehner.
Before joining Paint Valley ADAMH Dehner was owner/consultant of HELP Computer Solutions for 10 years in Chillicothe.
Dehner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in networking and communications from DeVry University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from DeVry University Keller Graduate School of Management. She is a native of Nebraska and currently resides in Chillicothe with her husband of 36 years.
