Paint Valley ADAMH provides a variety of prevention services through the provider’s listed below. If you or someone you know may have a problem or you believe they are heading in that direction, please call and we can help.
Prevention assistance is provided through a variety of groups such as the Pickaway Suicide Prevention Coalition and Ross Suicide Prevention Coalition which provides outreach, support to survivors of suicide, and other awareness and prevention services. FRS Counseling in Hillsboro offers a modified Success Program, Pickaway Area Recovery offers Life Skills to school aged children, and Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center offers not only Life Skills, but Positive Adolescent Choices and Modified Asset Building.
Other providers, like Big Brother’s Big Sisters of South-Central Ohio, provide turning point education and alternatives to alcohol and drug addiction.
